Recent Events
On Saturday June 30th, 2007 at Courtland, Ontario, Trillium Railway offered TransCAER style training to the members of the Norfolk County Fire and Rescue Services Department. The Canadian Chemical Producers' Association - CCPX 911 training tank car was demonstrated by the RAC Dangerous Goods team with grateful assistance from Transport Canada. This training provided first responders with information on how to safely deal with rail based dangerous goods incidents.

Construction is progressing at the Integrated Grain Processors Cooperative (IGPC) Ethanol plant located at Aylmer, Ontario. IGPC is building an 150 million liter per year ethanol facility that will be served by Trillium Railway's St. Thomas and Eastern Railway.

We have recently completed upgrades to our Brown Road Transload Facility. The middle track has been made accessible on both sides. This allows convienient access to both sides of the car, and is ideal for loading or unloading those cars which require balanced loading or unloading. If you are interested in utilizing this facility, please contact our Operations Centre at 905-735-5529.

Aerial view of Future Transfer at Tillsonburg, ON. Future Transfer is a liquid transload facility served by Trillium's St. Thomas and Eastern Railway. Future Transfer is equipped to transfer to and from rail cars as well as having the capability to steam or hot water heat rail cars for temperature sensitive commodites. They currently have rail capacity for approximately 20 cars.

Trillium Railway has recently partnered with SanPack Co-Packing and Warehousing in St. Catharines, ON to provide customers without sidings the option of cross-docking truck to rail and vice-versa. The SanPack facility offers 90,000 square feet of clean, heated warehousing with a full sprinkler system. SanPack can load or unload up to 2 railcars at a time.
